Selma is a city in Fresno County, California. The population was 23,219 at the 2010 census, up from 19,240 at the 2000 census. Selma is located 16 miles (26km) southeast of Fresno,[8] at an elevation of 308 feet (94 m).[7] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 5.1 square miles (13km2), all of it land.
